Q: Where are sessions conducted?

  • Sessions are held virtually via Zoom

Q: Do you accept Insurance?

  • No, currently we are not in-network with any insurance companies. For all insurance plans, I am considered an “out-of-network” provider. It is important you contact your insurance company to see if you have any out-of-network benefits available to you for mental health. Out-of-network services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance plan. We provide a statement of services, or “superbill,” that can be submitted to an insurance company for reimbursement.

Q: What is your Cancellation policy?

  • We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If 24 hour notice is not given, the patient is responsible for the full session cost. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged a late fee of 100% of the session rate. If you are 15 minutes past the scheduled appointment time, the session will be considered a no-show.

Q: What are your rates?

  • Fees for psychotherapy are $300 for 45-min sessions, and are prorated based on appointment length. Fees for consultation and supervision are $200 per hour. Payment is due at the time of service.

Good Faith Estimate

You are entitled to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” for the cost of medical care. Healthcare providers are required by law to give uninsured or out-of-network patients an estimate of pricing for their medical services.

Your total cost of services will depend upon the number of sessions you attend, your circumstances, and the type and amount of services that are provided to you. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the expected cost of any non-emergency items or services, at least one business day before your appointment. As a patient, you are entitled to ask healthcare providers for a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling a visit or service.

If you receive a bill that is more than $400 over your Good Faith Estimate, you are allowed to dispute the charge. In case issues arise, be sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For more information on your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises, call CMS Boston Regional Office at (617)-565-1188, or call the No Surprises Help Desk at 1-800-985-3059
